GRAND water heaters are suitable to be installed in an upright position only. The design of the heater ensures the tank to be filled with water and heated automatically. The water is heated to the set temperature.

ANTIMIX system

The unique ANTIMIX system prevents the mixing of cold and heated water layers. The hot water utilization rate is significantly increased, and sudden temperature fluctuations are completely eliminated thanks to this device.

The internal tank

The internal tank of the water heater is made of high quality steel, which withstands considerable mechanical impacts. In order to protect the tank against corrosion, the steel is coated with a layer of titanium enamel with an increased content of titanium and chromium, which guarantees a complete protection against even the toughest tap water. To date, it is the most reliable, durable, environmentally friendly and hygienic coating. A dense and environmentally friendly polyurethane foam insulation, which does not contain Freon, gives the product the properties of a thermos and provides a costs efficient use.

The adjustable thermostat

The adjustable thermostat dual protection strictly maintains the hot water set temperature and automatically blocks the heater in case of overheating.

Other advantages

The safety cover protects the heating unit from accidental damages. All covers are made of modern, high-strength polymer materials. This allows an easy removal of dust and moisture from the surface and prevents the possibility of electrocution. A safety valve prevents water leakage into the piping and is used to relieve the excess water pressure in the tank. A replaceable magnesium anode provides additional protection against corrosion. The entire electrical unit, including the heating element, thermostat and replaceable magnesium anode are assembled on a steel flange, which is attached to the tank with five heavy-duty bolts.
